Sometimes you need to read your birth chart and listen to a group of hippies contemplate the state of the world.

Right before takeoff, the Chani App1 showed me my natal moon placement — an epiphany as I set off to fly the friendly skies.
I was born at 9:44p during a Gibbous Moon. “Born under the almost Full Moon, you’ll tend to be analytical, exacting and perfecting as you’ve been given the job of getting everything in order before the culmination of things.”
Shoutout to Chani Nicholas for finally explaining my whole life.
“An extraordinary pressure pervades your life adding to high expectations of yourself. There is a lot of activity generally buzzing around you which can feel overwhelming, exciting, or a combination of both.”

Tiny Elephant has been having an identity crisis (also me). And as Alan Watts’ even tempered voice soothes me on this flight across the Pacific Ocean, some things are starting to crystallize.
Being a business owner in this dystopian marketplace has been so gritty it's paralyzed me from putting out my work, stories, insights and art. Thankfully I dropped into this incredible lecture and transformationally — I found a second wind. The TE brand takes more shape when I have profound moments of clarity, like this one.
I’m finding a propulsion of inspiration while traveling, and it seems like it is time to open the robe a sliver and reveal thoughtful content, both from me, a founder, and from TE, the little engine that could.
This new series is called In-Flight Download, meant to share a selection from my Spotify travel playlist, which is a hub of key media and lectures — somewhat of a breadcrumb trail to the eventual Tiny Elephant story arch.
These are interesting times on this planet, and this is a truly legendary discussion worth listening to and reflecting on almost 60 years later.
🎧 Please listen to five brilliant minds, beaming in from the summer of 1967 on Alan’s infamous houseboat in Sausalito, CA.
The stacked lineup of free-thinkers, beatniks, poets, environmentalists, psychedelicists, and spiritualists dive into heady and practical conversation around dropping out2 into a freer, more natural, tribe-focused society.
Big thank you to Mark Watts, son of the philosopher and host of the Alan Watts podcast, Being in the Way.
“What we need to realize is there can be a movement, a stirring among people, which can be organically designed instead of politically designed.”
Alan Watts
